PRESENTATION OF lawyer JOSÉ PÉREZ TIRADO SHOT IN THE DAY "MAJOR INJURY TRAFFIC ACCIDENT" Organized by the Bar Association VALLADOLID

Explained the lawyer Pérez Tirado several times, the reason for the low compensation is due to Spanish law passed in 1991 which sought a compensation system "very low" because at that time recorded a very high accident rate in the country and insurance companies were small, therefore, to set higher levels, the sector "had sunk." Twenty years later, these small companies have disappeared and now insurance companies are large multinational groups, which charge the same price in Europe, although at the time of severance pay in Spain, by the limitations of the law, the amounts are much lower.

In Europe, -according to Pérez Tirado- have understood that the compulsory motor insurance has a social function, which is to cover the car mishaps occur and is not just for profits, sometimes excessive, in the industry. "To put Spain at the same level as the rest of Europe and give a "decent life" who has suffered an unfortunate accident rather than "economic collapse", as stated, is to change the law and scales and has predicted that next year may be approved this law.
